Beacon exists to serve seasonal workers in Telluride, Colorado
Through hospitality, mentorship and genuine community, we offer guidance and belonging so they can thrive in every aspect of life.

Each year, hundreds of young adults arrive in resort towns with a dream of enjoying the outdoors. They work in roles that keep the community running—lift operators, servers, ski instructors, baristas, dishwashers, guides, and more. While the mountains offer adventure and beauty, these workers are also faced with many unexpected challenges and hardships:
Lack of affordable housing options
High cost of living
Physically demanding work in winter conditions
Social pressure centered around bars, partying and substance use
Curiosity about faith with past hurt
Mental health concerns with limited places to turn
Few advocates in their life
Beacon is here to help seasonal workers find resources to truly thrive.
