What we Offer
Gatherings that Build Community
Dinners, pickleball, hikes, lunches, bonfires, movie and game nights, outdoor recreation, local events ~ anything that brings people together. To begin the winter season, we will again kick off Friday Feast, a twice a month free dinner at The Well for our seasonal workers and Adopt-a-Liftie where local families invite young adults into their home for a home cooked meal once a month. For more info, see Upcoming Events on our home page.
One-on-one meetings for spiritual direction and personal growth. We pair each seasonal worker with a mentor that meets with them twice a month. Possible topics include life plan, career goals, budgeting and relationships. If you would like to be connected to a mentor, reach out to us at beacontelluride@gmail.com for more info or to sign up.
Life Coaching & Mentorship
We offer opportunities to grow deeper in faith. In partnership with The Alpine Chapel, we offer a Tuesday night young adult bible study and dinner as well as other book studies, one-on-one discipleship, and weekly church services.
Discipleship & Faith Formation
Taking advantage of where we live in all seasons through retreats, camping trips, hikes, moonlight skis, paddle boarding and of course alpine skiing and boarding during ski season. We are up for any outdoor adventure and love connecting seasonal workers with others as well.

Mental Health & Practical Resources
Living and working in Telluride can be incredible—few places in the world match its beauty and adventure. But we also know challenges come with life in the mountains. An injury on the slopes can quickly derail a season making work and mobility difficult. Mental health struggles are real as well and sometimes it’s hard to know where to turn.
That’s why we’re here. If you run into transportation issues, need a meal or are looking for resources like counseling or support for drug and alcohol challenges, we want to help. You don’t have to face these things alone—Beacon is here to walk with you and connect you to the support you need. Reach out to:

Each year, we invite young adults who are faith leaders to come to Telluride and build meaningful relationships with other young adults in the community. Residents live and work in Telski supplied housing in exchange for seasonal employment at the resort. During their stay, they are paired with mentors and leaders who invest in them through encouragement and support.
Residents participate in our regular young adult nights, church services and outreach events, with additional opportunities to serve in youth ministry, worship, and community gatherings. We offer both summer and year-round internship options that combine work in Telluride with intentional mentoring, community support, and transformative experiences such as backpacking trips and global missions.
The summer residency typically begins in May and runs through mid to late August. The year-round residency can begin either in late May or late fall, depending on individual needs.
